Sam brings over two decades of expertise in construction, project management, and the energy sector. As the General Contractor and Owner of Castle Row Construction since 2002, he has overseen the successful completion of diverse residential and commercial projects, managing over $6 million annually. His ability to deliver top-tier results while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and project efficiency has made him a trusted leader in the construction industry.



Since 2015, Sam has also served as Portfolio Manager and Partner at Castle Row, LLC,  where he helps direct a broad portfolio of real estate ventures, ensuring both operational success and long-term growth for the company.


Before his work at Castle Row, Sam had a distinguished career with Chevron, starting as a Drill Site Manager from 2006 to 2012, where he directed day-to-day well site operations, coordinating teams and managing logistics for complex onshore and offshore projects. From 2012 to 2015, as a Drilling Engineer, he planned and supervised multi-million-dollar oil and gas operations, optimizing drilling processes, and delivering $5 million in cost savings through an innovative batch drilling program in the Gulf of Mexico.


Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a licensed Commercial and Residential General Contractor and is deeply committed to his local community. Sam is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette Class XXXI, and a participant in the LEDA CEO Roundtable. In addition, he has been an active member of the Acadiana Home Builders Association for nine years, the Realtor Association of Acadiana for three years, and One Acadiana, continually contributing to the development and growth of the region.

Project Coordinator

Casey Johnson Dore

Casey Johnson Dore’ is our Project Coordinator. Casey supports construction projects by managing schedules, tracking budgets, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring clear communication among teams.


Detail-oriented and organized, she helps keep projects on track, on time, and aligned with company and client expectations. Casey graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond and then earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.


Casey has been a part of the Castle Row team from the inception as she began her career as Property Manager and Office Manager for our affiliate company, Castle Row, LLC, where she proved her extensive administrative leadership overseeing office operations, payroll, correspondence, and organizational systems. Casey is married to Scott Dore’ and they have three children, Adam, Emily, and Avery.
